occupational therapy

What is occupational therapy?

Occupational Therapy focuses on maximising your child’s ability to reach their potential to participate at home, in social settings and in school environments.

A Paediatric Occupational Therapist works with children and their families to help them build up the skills necessary to participate in the activities of everyday life.

Children’s primary occupations are to be a son or daughter, brother or sister, to play and through play learn, develop and mature, to participate in self-care, to be a student, and a friend.
