Funding & Rebates
Occupational Therapy Kids Academy is a private clinic and fees are applicable for all assessments and treatments. Many of our clients are eligible for rebates under Medicare rebate programs or Private Health.
National Disabality Insurance Scheme
NDIS is currently available for individuals using a self-managed plan.
Chronic Disease Management Plan (formally the Enhanced Primary Care Plan EPC).
This is an annual plan that entitles you to 5 rebates from Medicare for your Occupational Therapy sessions. Your GP will assess your eligibility for this plan. Eligibility is based on a specific criterion. If approved by your GP they will provide you with a written referral, which you must provide to your Occupational Therapist, before completing the first session under the plan.
Better Access to Mental Health Care Scheme
We are registered providers under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Scheme. This initiative is available for a child with a mental disorder to receive up to ten individual and up to ten group allied mental health services per calendar year. If approved by your GP or Paediatrician they will provide you with a written referral, which you must provide to your Occupational Therapist, before completing the first session under the plan.
