Tyla is a warm and compassionate Occupational Therapist who brings a playful and positive approach to every session. She has a genuine love for working with children and values building strong, trusting relationships with her clients, recognising that connection is the foundation for learning, growth, and confidence. Tyla holds a firm belief that play is children’s primary occupation and is dedicated to helping children thrive through play-based and neuro-affirming therapy. She strives to create engaging and meaningful OT sessions that incorporate each child’s personal interests, ensuring therapy is both rewarding and enjoyable.

With a background in gymnastics, Tyla enjoys incorporating gross motor activities to support coordination, body awareness, and sensory regulation, alongside any goals important to the child including social, emotional, fine motor, self-care or executive functioning skills. Tyla recognises the importance of working collaboratively with children’s primary caregivers, teachers, and other key people in their lives. She aims to empower each child and their support network, while advocating for their right to be understood, supported, and celebrated.

Outside of work, Tyla enjoys spending time with her dogs, friends, and family, and loves expressing her creativity through music and art.
